Piano Classes and Times

Piano Classes and Times. Annemarie is flexible on times and competitive on prices and teaches all year round except the last week of July and the month of August. She teaches all of the Royal Irish Academy, London College of Music and Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music exams on her instruments and caters for all ages.
Teaching Methods for Piano Tuition
Annemarie has an Honours Higher Diploma in Education and has a relaxed and logical approach to her teaching. Annemarie is a One Stop Shop when it comes to music teaching and piano classes. She is unique in that she does, if agreed, music theory, ear tests, scales, sight reading and fun pieces in each class, while in the school of music these extras require a separate teacher and fee.
She also accompanies her clarinet and saxophone pupils on piano, which no other clarinet or saxophone teacher does, therefore allowing the student “a live” in house accompanist instead of hiring in an accompanist.
Teaching Resources and Results
As a teacher she provides a quiet safe environment in her classroom for pupils to reach their full potential. At her home she has a library of CDs and an amplification system to cater for her pupils every need during piano classes.
She averages “A” grade in Leaving Certificate music and has had piano pupils attaining up to and including 142 marks out of 150 possible marks in Associated Board exams and Clarinet pupils getting six Distinctions in a row over a period of seven years before the student went on to study in Dublin and Holland.
